Milan Fashion Week

Fashion designer Jeremy Scott, showcasing his debut collection on Corso Venezia for Moschino benefited from Katy Perry entering fashionably late, even as the singer was booed for being so.

Bridesmades star Rose Byrne was seen on the front row and red carpet.
And Ms. Hayek, close friends with designer Frida Gianni was said to be drooling over Gucci’s lush looks for the winter, coming a year from now.
All this and more was happening at Milan Fashion Week…this week.
Couture fashion, celebrity be-seens, fashion magazine editors and bloggers logging stories and tweets, materials of all kinds, from leather, to latex to suede-and everything in between-were shown, on hand, running to and fro as fashions ran from the mild, vintage, alternative and tried-and-true.
As we report on all kinds of events here-from the fetish get together’s, to sun-and- fun getaways to performances-we like to reveal what’s happening at these fashion weeks throughout the world. The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in NYC the beginning of February occurred right on the heels of the Superbowl happening in N.J. but Milan seems to be marching along all on its very own, with nothing much else happening round it…as is always the case with what happens in the Italian fashion capital.
There’s bound to be more news coming from Milan Fashion Week, so check in with us regularly as we report from the Italian City and everywhere else these big runaway shows happen.
